Who we are in solar

Commodity-trading discipline, applied to clean energy

Axis Mondo came to solar through the materials that go into it. Today we work along the whole chain: sourcing polysilicon, metals and glass for manufacturers, supplying modules and inverters to installers, developing and building plants, and selling the power they produce — in solar first, and in wider renewables as those markets grow.

What we do

Four stages. One supply chain.

Each stage is a business in its own right — and each one makes the next more reliable, because we already know the suppliers, the logistics and the risks.

Materials

The raw materials behind every module

Solar starts as a commodity trade — and that is where we started.

We source polysilicon, silver, aluminium, copper and solar glass for wafer, cell and module manufacturers, with the same offtake relationships, storage and financing we use across our metals business.

Equipment

Bankable equipment, delivered on site

Developers and installers need modules that arrive on time, on spec and with the paperwork in order.

We supply PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, cabling, transformers and battery storage from established manufacturers, and handle shipping, customs and site delivery so that projects keep their schedule.

Projects

Plants we develop, finance and build

From a signed land lease to a commissioned plant.

We develop utility-scale solar parks and commercial rooftops, arrange the financing and build them — on our own account or with EPC partners — and look after operations once they are running.

Power

Solar electricity under long-term contract

The last stage of the chain is selling the power.

We supply solar electricity to industrial and commercial customers under long-term power purchase agreements, from plants we own or operate, and structure captive plants for energy-intensive sites.

Clean energy is a supply chain. We know supply chains.

Work with us

How we work

Secured at source, accountable until the power flows

A solar plant is only as reliable as the weakest link in its supply chain. We manage every link ourselves — and we stay involved after delivery.

  • Supply at source

Direct relationships with polysilicon, glass, cell and module producers — not only with distributors.

  • Logistics & financing

We hold, ship and finance equipment so that projects keep their schedule and their budget.

  • Accountable to delivery

We stay until the plant is commissioned, the grid connection is live and the power is flowing.

  • Traceable supply chains

Documented origin for the materials and modules we supply, checked before they are shipped.

Leadership

“Our customers do not buy a module or a megawatt-hour. They buy the certainty that it will be there when they need it.”
